GAFP encouraging members to register for 75th anniversary CME event

GAFP members should click here to register for GAFP’s 75th anniversary celebration and 2022 Annual Family Medicine CME Weekend, which will take place at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria near Truist Park and The Battery off I-75/I-285 on November 10-12.

“This is going to be a wonderful way to celebrate GAFP’s long list of accomplishments, resilience, and rich history,” says GAFP President-elect Sharon Rabinovitz, M.D. “And we thought it would be fitting for the event’s theme to be ‘standing strong and shining brightly’.”

GAFP Executive Vice President Fay Fulton explains, “Each year family physicians, residents, medical students, and other health care professionals in Georgia come together to network, participate in educational activities, and explore leading products and services. GAFP is especially excited to honor and celebrate our members during this special anniversary.”

Fulton also points out that attendees will be able to earn up to 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. (AAFP prescribed credits pending).

She also notes that GAFP will host several unique online ABFM Knowledge Self-Assessment Workshops (KSAs) in October. Fulton says, “These will be the last KSAs that GAFP offers this year–as there will not be any live KSAs offered during the annual meeting.” Click here for GAFP’s KSA schedule. Also see the following article for more details on the KSA that GAFP will offer in October.

GAFP members who register for the annual meeting by September 21 will receive a $50 “early bird” discount, and the last day to register for the meeting is October 30.
