MAG honors Alliant Quality VP/CMO for humanitarian efforts – GAFP Board Member

Adrienne Mims, MD, FAAFP, AGSF, the vice president and chief medical officer of Medicare Quality Improvement for Alliant Health Solutions, was honored with the Medical Association of Georgia’s Jack A. Raines Humanitarian Award during a ceremony that took place during MAG’s 164th House of Delegates meeting on Jekyll Island on October 21. The award is given to physicians who make outstanding humanitarian contributions beyond the normal practice of medicine. Read more

Samuel “Le” Church, MD, FAAFP highlighted in the AAFP News

Dr. Samuel “Le” Church — a member of the AAFP’s Commission on Organization and Finance, a member of the AAFP’s CPT adviser team and a high school wrestling coach — does more on the issue of child abuse than providing and teaching forensic exams.
