Important Update: Georgia Prescription Drug Monitoring Program – Action Requested

An update from the Georgia Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (GAPDMP):
The Georgia Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (GAPDMP) will be switching software vendors. We will be moving from RxSentry to the Appriss PMP AWARxE system.All accounts with RxSentry will be inaccessible beginning July 1, 2016. You will be able to access the new system beginning July 11, 2016. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused by the required technical downtime.

Please ensure that the email address on your RxSentry account is private to you as the account holder. Any accounts that share the same email address will NOT be transferred to the new system. If your account is not transferred you will have to fill out the registration and wait for your account to be approved by the State of Georgia.

Please login to your existing GAPDMP account on the RxSentry system and follow the below steps to update your account information. Please complete all updates before June 22, 2016:

  1. Navigate to “User Management”
  2. Click on “Update User Profile” to review and/or update your account information.
    • Please ensure the email address on your account is private to you
    • Any accounts that have the same email address will not be transferred to the new system

Important Information:

  • If you do not already have an account on the existing system you can register until June 22, 2016. Registration on the new GA PDMP software will open on July 11, 2016.
  • If your account is migrated from RxSentry, you will receive an email on 7/11/16, with the website, your login information, and instructions for the new system.
    • You will have access to the new system beginning, 7/11/16
  • Please set no-reply-pmpaware@globalnotifications.com as a safe sender within your email client and/or firewall.

You will receive a reminder email with instructions on how to access your account as well as a short training tutorial on how to perform a query on 7/11/16.
