RE: Hurricane Irma – Disaster Relief Fund for Your Office Available
We are aware that Hurricane Irma hit hard on the low-lying areas of the Georgia coast. Our thoughts and prayers are with those of you who evacuated and headed to dry land.
While our hope is that Irma caused minimal damage to our state – we want you to know that the Georgia Academy’s Foundation (Georgia Healthy Family Alliance) has a Disaster Relief Fund to help our members who may have experienced damage to their practice. We established this fund in 2007 and were able to help two family physicians who lost their practices when a tornado ripped through downtown Americus.
We encourage everyone to be safe – but if you need assistance – don’t hesitate to contact either Kara Sinkule (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Fay Fulton (email@example.com) to fill out a simple grant application.
