GHFA Awards Disaster Relief Grant to GAFP Member Impacted by March 3rd Tornado

The Georgia Healthy Family Alliance (GHFA) Board of Trustees recently awarded a Disaster Relief Grant to GAFP Member Dr. Daniel Kosobucki Jr. after a tornado touched down in Waverly Hall, GA on March 3, 2019. The tornado caused extensive damage to Dr. Kosobucki’s property, and grant funds will be used to mitigate a portion of Dr. Kosobucki’s losses including time away from his practice.

GHFA’s Disaster Relief Fund was established in 2007 to assist two family physicians who lost their practices when a tornado ripped through downtown Americus, GA. If you are aware of another GAFP member who sustained damage during a recent storm, please contact us at (404) 321-7445.  Either Kara Sinkule (ksinkule@gafp.org) or Fay Fulton (ffulton@gafp.org) can assist you with completing the application.
