Georgia Healthy Family Alliance Promotes Tar Wars at the Georgia Association of School Nurses Annual Meeting!

Kara Sinkule, Associate Executive Director of the Georgia Healthy Family Alliance, traveled to Savannah July 14 – 15 to attend the Georgia Association of School Nurses’ 23rd Annual Statewide Educational Conference and promote the Tar Wars program, which is designed to teach kids about the short-term, image-based consequences of tobacco use, the cost associated with using tobacco products, and the advertising techniques used by the tobacco industry to market their products to youth.
