GAFP Leaders Shine Bright in Rainy New Orleans

The Georgia Academy was well represented at the AAFP’s Southeastern Forum in New Orleans recently.  Hosted by the Louisiana Chapter, twelve southern states rotate the meeting and spend a weekend hearing the latest AAFP news and sharing best practices from many of our chapter’s successes.  The program included a moving discussion on healthcare recovery after Hurricane Katrina and improving care delivery across the southeast from our COSEHC / Quality Impact Practice Transformation Network partners.

Next year, the Georgia Academy will host this meeting in Savannah!  Thanks to the following leaders who traveled to New Orleans to attend this key meeting:  President Elect Eddie Richardson, MD, President Mitzi Rubin, AAFP COD Delegate Leonard Reeves, MD and AAFP COD Delegate Beulette Hooks, MD.
