Announcing Point of Care Ultrasound Workshop for Annual Meeting Attendees

By Sarah Bigorowski, Director of Education

Georgia Academy of Family Physicians announces an innovative Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Workshop taking place at the upcoming annual meeting.

In this hands-on workshop, attendees will learn how to use ultrasound to make bedside procedures easier, safer and faster. Attendees will also discuss the various ways to use ultrasound to “see” the needle during the procedure using procedural trainers and will participate in demonstrations of musculoskeletal anatomy with hands-on scanning of live models. Due to the interactive nature of this workshop, only 50 attendees are able to participate and may add this workshop to their existing meeting registration on a first come, first serve basis.
